The Fearsome Personified Divine Universal Goddess
Mother, shown donned in an exquisitely beautiful facial finery. She is The
Governess of the ignorance and darkness in the life of the individual living
souls. My spiritual and religious inclinations have greatly influenced this
artwork. <\/span><\/p>\n

Solid oils and Acrylics have been used on a white
gluten free, archival art paper to execute this original work.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Taking about 12 hours, this creation is inspired from
religious facts as The Governess Supreme of the ignorance and darkness in the
life of the individual living souls, who largely live governed by own
individual habits and lifestyles as per the whims & fancies of their own fickle
minds. As held in the Indian scriptures. She is Mother Goddess Kali’s one of
the most confidential, personal, plenary expansion and, fearsome, too. She
being The\u00a0 Governess, is thus,
“Holy”. She has her mastery over facial and bodily luster, beauty, finery
of natural costumery, etc. All these arts are Divine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thus, delicate patterns, intricacies of designs on Her
Face, Body, etc are Characteristic. These patterns \/ designs are not covered \/
nor exist in western, eastern or other cultures \/ vocab. Nor are there any
words to describe this very ancient hand-art in any other language !! The
delicate patterns are called “Mehendi”(Henna),
“Kaazal”(collyrium), \u201cPatravali\u201d and, \u201cChitravali\u201d, ALL 100% natural,
organic, home-made and, hygienic. As well is the shower\/splatter of
\u201cSindhur\u201d(Vermilion) on Her Head and Forehead. These do not harm the\u00a0 body or give any side effects ! Such hand-art
is very common in India in bridal make-up as well as, festive occasions. This
sindhur is also a mark of wedded, marital status for women. This is
illustrative of the religious understanding and faith in the oriental
scriptures, esp in India.<\/span><\/p>\n
